Inspired by the 'Father of the Modern Chronometer' and a love for vintage watchmaking techniques, in 2012 Thomas Earnshaw set out to fill a unique gap in the market. With a nostalgia for the golden age of elegance and watchmaking, we aimed to go beyond the expected and redefine the new classic - and our watches have done just this.

As one of the most distinguished men who ever undertook a voyage across the world in the nineteenth century, Thomas Earnshaw watches have dedicated a collection to Charles Darwin and simply named the collection ‘Darwin’.
The bold bezel makes allows for quick glance reading of the striking roman numerals. The Darwin is a three-hand, self-winding automatic watch and is presented with a hardened domed mineral lens to protect the dial. Also water-resistant up to 5ATM, this is very much a modern man’s watch that alludes to the classicism of a bygone era.
A stunning balance of design and mechanical excellence, the Darwin showcases an exquisite blue cabochon which is inlaid into the perfectly engraved crown.
